Il legno è un materiale globale ed è uno dei costituenti principali dei beni culturali, dagli arredi agli oggetti etnografici, passando per le strutture lignee, arrivando infine al suo uso come supporto nei dipinti su tavola e nelle opere d’arte contemporanea.
Per questo abbiamo pensato che fosse il momento di convogliare le attenzioni sul legno in tutti i suoi aspetti, a molti anni di distanza da altri eventi congressuali su queste tematiche.
Come per le precedenti edizioni, vuole essere un momento di incontro tra diverse professionalità per condividere e per diffondere metodologie e competenze sulle tematiche della conservazione delle opere in legno.

Wood is a global material and is one of the main constituents of cultural heritage, from furniture and ethnographic objects to wooden structures and its use as a support in panel paintings and contemporary works of art.
This is why we thought it was time to focus attention on wood in all its aspects, many years after other conference events on these subjects.as in the previous editions, aims to be an opportunity of encounter among different professionals, to share and to propagate methodologies and skills on the issues of conservation of wooden works.
